Our company culture is no more complicated than trying to ensure everyone, even if being challenged, is ultimately enjoying what they are doing and getting results. If we have to make changes in responsibility or department to achieve this we will readily do so. Sales has ended up in HR and HR in Sales, we don’t put blinkers on careers. Sales Openings
Our clients spend billions to create awareness and buzz around their brands and new offerings. Thus we are not selling new ideas or concepts to people, rather our job is to create the relationships and answer the questions that turn awareness into purchase. Combine the multiple industries in which we are involved, with the different sales channels we offer, and there is a home for anyone who is excited about combining great income, schedule flexibility and personal growth.
Classically there are three main reasons candidates are excited to work in our sales positions:
Money
Most sales companies structure pay to minimise risk. Commission only so they only pay for sales, or guarantees but low or capped commissions as a guarantee against the salary. We offer competitives guarantees depending on experience, but also large and uncapped commission. A happy team is a growing business. We are breeding a maximum wage, not a minimum wage culture. Uncapped bonuses and earnings keep you motivated and our entry level teams make double or more the national average for entry level pay.
Hours
Once past the initial product and systems training someone looking to work exclusively in sales will start to have ultimate schedule flexibility. Can you get the job done and be at home with your family instead of at work? Amazing we say.
Although our Partner Programme like any growth will ask for extra hours of leadership training and experience for at least 90 days, the end goal at Partner is again opportunity to pick your schedule and work from where you are most happy and productive.
Personal Development
More than just the hard skills of learning technical products, sales skills and being versed in different industries, sales builds the important soft skills of self confidence and adaptability. You will become more confident in social and business situations as a result of our award winning training.
If ongoing people management isn’t your long term goal, then Steppe 2 offers its top sales executives the chance to share best practice without ongoing responsibility, and earn increased incentive as a Global Executive.

Bottom Up
We grow the business with a bottom up rather than top down approach. Essentially we LISTEN to the newest people who have a fresh set of eyes on our business and instigate change based in their feedback. We have a 100% internal promotion policy that takes away ceilings or roadblocks in ones career and means we look to push people from the bottom up to fill openings. Regardless of experience, if you are doing a great job, we will invite you to take on mentoring responsibility. We want information and training to be fresh and relevant as we constantly evolve our business.
Leadership Roles
The word Leader is preferred within Steppe 2 to manager. You do more than simply manage teams in our company. You’ll help to assemble teams of diverse people that deliver our amazing brand experiences. At Steppe 2 we lead from the front inspiring through action, and a culture of open, honest feedback to actively develop each team member’s talent and skills.
Such is our need for growth nationally, the only limit to your future responsibility is your work ethic and grasp of leadership fundamentals. We will build on the former and develop the latter. Our leadership roles are great for Graduates, or people with Manager, Senior Manager, Store Leader, and any similar market leadership experience. The ultimate goal for someone who commits to a career at Steppe 2 would be a Partner role, where you are given a business unit to oversee with full autonomy over finance, HR and strategic decision making.

Taking Ownership
Another key tenet of our coaching is to have individuals taking ownership of their career and decisions. This is how we create strong independent leaders.
The basic principle is to begin to erase the concept of ‘need’ and change it to one of ‘want’ where someone feels in control of their growth and success. Granted there is always an initial process of learning and understanding a new structure and culture, but for those who we move quickly forward, they are deciding their schedule, picking their income goals, committing to milestones they want to achieve. We merely act as consultants and coaches to that process.
Students
Contribute, don’t spectate. At Steppe 2 your team will welcome you as a full contributor from day one, like any other team member. You will have the opportunity to make real decisions and have a real impact. Yes, you’ll learn from your peers, but your peers will expect to learn from you also.

6-12 Months+
Penultimate Year Student
Steppe 2 has a placement programme for future graduates with development opportunities and exposure. You will not only enhance your professional growth and skills, you could even launch your future Steppe 2 career. Placement students have early application opportunities to our executive training

12 Months+
Final Year Student
Steppe 2’s Graduate Partner Programme is an 6-12 month rotational leadership development program for graduates with a degree, and is focused on building general management skills. Take on a new level of learning and growth, and you may have accelerated career opportunities throughout the company. The program is comprised of development across three distinct business units related to the company’s needs. Some of the placement rotations include:
- Sales and marketing: learn our Marketing Strategies
- Leadership: take on real responsibility by leading marketing teams
- Business administration: be trained on legal, admin, finance and HR
- Travel opportunities: spend time abroad to understand the global nature of ours and our clients’ business
